The following applies specifically to our Video Translator: Lingo app.

Third-Party AI Processing (OpenAI): Lingo uses OpenAI's API to provide transcription and translation features. When you use these features, certain data is sent to OpenAI for processing:

• Transcription: Audio extracted from your video is sent to OpenAI's Whisper speech-to-text service to generate a text transcription.

• Translation: Transcription text and your selected target language are sent to OpenAI's language model to produce the translation.

What is NOT sent: Your account information, email address, device identifiers, or any other personal metadata is never shared with OpenAI. Only the audio and text content necessary to perform the requested feature is transmitted.

Your Consent: By initiating a transcription or translation within the app, you consent to the transfer of the relevant audio or text data to OpenAI for processing. No data is sent to OpenAI unless you actively request a transcription or translation.

Third-Party Data Protection: OpenAI processes data sent through their API in accordance with their Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. Data submitted via the API is not used by OpenAI to train their models.
